Dulwich Park SE21
An officially measured 5-mile course. Come and join us in gorgeous Dulwich Park and the surrounding streets.
See the route below. It is NOT just 5 laps of the park!! Much more interesting than that.
Organised by local club, DULWICH PARK RUNNERS, the entry fee is only £5.00.
The 5 -mile race starts at 9.30am.
Please register in advance if possible, before 4th October, and arrive by 9.00am on the day.
On the day entries are £10. Please arrive by 8.45am if you wish to register on the day.
No dogs or push chairs-sorry! And only bone conductor type ear-phones please
Plus a free one-mile race for youngsters under the age of 18-registration only on the day.
The one -mile race for under 18s will start shortly after 11.00am. Advance booking is not necessary, we are only taking entries on the day. The deadline for registration is 10.30am. An adult must register the participant. The adult can choose whether to run with the junior.

This is a public event raising money for the club's charity, Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers. There is an opportunity when registering to make an additional doantion to the charity if you wish.
Medals for fastest men and women in each age group. (Under 40; 40-50; 50-60 and over 60)

Wherever possible please walk, run, cycle, or use public transport to the event. There is limited car parking in the park and surrounding streets.
The event start is in the centre of the park near the children's playground area. There are four entrances to the park: the main entrance is in College Road; others are on the south circular (Rosebery and Queen Mary Gates) and on Court Lane.
From North Dulwich Station: turn left outside station and walk straight ahead (through Dulwich Village) through two sets of traffic lights and keep to the left of a mini roundabout. Use the College Road entrance opposite the Dulwich Picture Gallery. Enter the park and where the carriage way divides follow the carriage way to the right. 10 minutes' walk from the station to the park entrance; a further 5 minutes' walk from the park entrance to the start
From West Dulwich Station: Exit station and turn right. This is the south circular. Continue walking along this road. You will see Dulwich College on your right.
Go through the traffic lights, continue along the south circular for 300 metres and the entrance to the park (Queen Mary Gate) is on your left. Go through the gate and continue for 150 metres and veer right at the island in the carriage way. You will then see the race start just past the children's playground. (10-15 minute walk from West Dulwich Station)
Buses:
37 from Brixton. Alight at stop near North Dulwich station. (Follow instructions above). If coming from Peckham on the 37 alight at the last stop on East Dulwich Grove. You will see traffic lights ahead, tiurn left and walk through the village. (Follw instructiona above for North Dulwich station)
P4 from Brixton or Forest Hill. The bus stops near the main entrance to the park on College Road and there are also two stops on the south circular near the Queen Mary and Rosebery gates to the park.
There are various buses from the direction of East Duwlich station/Goose Green, and several from the direction of Forest Hill which go up Lordship Lane. Alight at Dulwich library and walk down Eynella Road to the Court Lane entracne to the park. Walk to the island in the middle of the main carriage way of the park and turn left. Look across the field to the right and at the far end you will see the start to the race.
